1. He heard of Jesus and responded in passionate faith (v. 47)
2. He knew the Scriptures (”Son of David…!” v. 47, 48)
3. In the face of censorship and oppression “he cried out all the more” to Jesus (v. 48)
4. Jesus, the Lord and Master of the Universe, stopped what He was doing for him (v. 49)
5. He was called by Jesus (v. 49)
6. Unable to see, and in the midst of a huge crowd, he abandoned what was likely his most important possession (the cloak) to come to Jesus unhindered (v. 50)
7. He wanted his eyes to be opened (v. 51)
8. He had faith in the power and authority of Jesus (v. 52)
9. He followed Jesus (v. 52)
